In addition to the tasks and duties entrusted by the President,  Presidency Department undertakes coordination between the academic units and follow-ups to assist the President in implementing the university policy in accordance with the laws, regulations, instructions and decisions in force to achieve the vision, mission and goals of Yarmouk University.

The Presidency Department is considered one of the most important and prominent departments of the university, it organizes the work of all university units, academically and administratively, manages the university's internal and external correspondence, and follows up on the implementation of procedures and decisions taken in their regard and duly document and archive them. It is considered the link between all deanships, faculties, centers, and administrative departments.

The Presidency department organizes the President's appointments, receives guests, facilitates and follows up on their affairs, follows up on processing information related to university contacts, attends national and international conferences, meetings, celebrations and national events.
